Have Hope
My grandma came back to our house today and boy, has she put us to work! I’m glad to have her back; we all missed her this week. My mom, grandma, and I all face-timed my Gramps this morning, and he looked SO MUCH BETTER!! He looked like a spring chicken, and he was talking a lot more than he has been in the past days. He was going to eat some Chex Mix that we had given him a few days ago, and his breathing was much better. He’s back at 10 liters of oxygen.
Praying that the nurses can bring him lower and that his breathing remains stable. We are all continuing to encourage him and pray that God helps him get better and stronger!
I am very thankful that God is doing a miracle in my Gramps. Those of you that have read each day of the 14-day journey know that it’s been up and down. I have had moments where it was hard to just have that faith that God would come through. The more that I reminded myself, God kept showing me that he had everything under his hands…and we were going to be okay. It’s been quite the journey, and I’m thankful that God has helped me get through it.
Psalm 94:19 says, “When doubt filled my mind, your comfort gave me RENEWED HOPE and CHEER.”
Know that whatever season you may be walking through, I pray that God gives you a sense of hope. I pray that you can come out of this situation stronger and that your faith just completely be renewed!
