Piece by Piece

Today was quite an emotional day for me. Praise God that my grandpa started feeling better today. My mom is having coughing episodes...she was prescribed an inhaler and that has definitely seemed to help calm her cough. Still just continuing to pray for my family that day by day we continue to make a full recovery! 

There’s a song playing as I’m typing and its called “Have My Heart” by Maverick City. One of the lyrics that stood out is when they start singing, “If you want my heart...you got it, you got it.” God reminded me tonight that he has every inch of your life covered...There is no place you can go where God won’t be. Psalm 139:9-10 says, “If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.” There is nothing you can face, where God hasn’t gone before you and won. In the seasons that feel the most uncertain God is right there alongside you. Don’t be afraid to let God into your heart and restore you piece by piece. It's one of the many things that God does for us and is delighted when he gets too. 

Lord,

I thank you for your son or daughter. I thank you that you are constant and unchanging. Thank you for loving us unconditionally even though sometimes we may not deserve it. I ask that you guide your son or daughter as they experience the life that you have for them. Allow them to feel you everywhere they go, even in the quiet and lonely places. Remind them that you are near to them in the good and the bad. Show them that they aren’t alone and that you can and will restore them piece by piece. I pray these things in Jesus Name...AMEN!
