Don't You Tell Me He Can't Do It
I listened to this song called "Too Good to Not Believe." If you haven't heard it, I definitely recommend you should give it a listen. I'll post the link at the bottom of the blog. This song really reminded me of who God is. Sometimes, in the busyness of life, we may forget just how great and big God is. He can do far more than we can ever imagine.
My favorite part of the song is when Brandon Lake sings, "And I've seen cancer disappear. I've seen metal plates dissolve. Don't you tell me He can't do it, don't you tell me He can't do it. 'Cause I've seen real-life resurrection. I've seen mental health restored. Don't you tell me He can't do it, don't you tell me He can't do it. 'Cause I've seen families reunited. I've seen prodigals return. Don't you tell me He can't do it, don't you tell me He can't do it. 'Cause I've seen troubled souls delivered. I've seen addicts finally free. Don't you tell me He can't do it, don't you tell me He can't do it!" He goes on to say/sing, "There's nothing that our God can't do."
Although we may not have seen all these miracles as Brandon has seen, we have our own miracles that we may have experienced. Whether it was being offered a work position, you or someone you knew could conceive a baby, your family relationships being restored, your marriage being restored. Or you becoming sober for the first time, you getting back on track and making amends, being restored from any illness or medical diagnosis. God makes things possible. No matter what you may be facing, I encourage you to not lose hope. God has done many things then, and he will continue to do many things now.
Remind yourself every single day…." There's nothing that my God can do!" He loves you because you are his. He wants to give us the best life that he can provide us with. Don't lose hope, especially when we can't seem to find the answers. God is there, and he's working things out for our good. The song continues to say, "I believe… You're the wonder-working God. You're the wonder-working God. All the miracles I've seen, too good to not believe."
Even if all the faith you have is the size of a mustard seed… that's all the faith that God needs, so don't you tell me he can't do it!"
