New Chapter, New Page
There’s a beginning to every story just as there are endings. It’s like reading a book that catches your attention. You’re reading it and reading it, but as you come near the end of the page to conclude the story… it leaves you at a cliffhanger. You don’t know what happens next; just ends like that. I am one of those that doesn’t like stories hanging with unanswered questions.
In life, we have those moments where a season (a story) ends and we don’t understand why, but all we can do is move forward. It may have been a story that you never wanted to end, because you always thought to yourself “This is going to be the best story ever lived.” Little did you know eventually you would find another book with another story inside that later revealed itself to be “life changing.” I don’t know if you’re in a place right now, in your life where you’ve been stuck “reading the same story over and over again” and you feel like this is as good as it gets.
I’m here to tell you that it gets better. There’s a new book with new chapters and pages ready to be turned, it’s just a matter of you letting go of what you thought was a book for you and moving onto a book that is MEANT for you. Ever since I can remember, I was told that God always gives us his best and there can be moments where we may hinder him from doing so. We get caught up in the moments of “this is it for me, this is as good as it gets.” It isn’t and God has so much in store if you learn to let go.
It’ll be hard to move forward but in the long run it’ll be the best thing you EVER did for yourself. You may look back and wonder the many ways it could have played out but reality is, it was probably for the best that you didn’t get to know. God knows exactly what he is doing and generally we don’t get to see the reasoning for things ending the way they did…but we can rest assured that God ALWAYS has his best in mind.
I’m here to remind you that it’s okay for you to grab a new book and turn the page into a new chapter in your life. What God has for you is for you. Have faith that it’s going to be great!
